Simplify New Employee Onboarding Process
About
A process is followed in every organization when an employee is being onboarded but the steps differs a bit from a company to company. There was a need of creating an application to automate the manual process that was running in our client’s organization which we helped to organize it by making an application using the client’s Microsoft’s ecosystem with a Powerapps Application
- Multi - role based application
- Microsoft Powerapps Canvas with CDS as the database
- Power Automate for sending emails to different entities
- Application roles: Admin, IT Manager, HR Manager, Staff Manager and Employees

Home Screen
- This is the first screen the user will see for which the screen will differ based on the type of the user
- The Admin will be able to see all the options, HR and Staff Managers are able to add new users and assign tasks, IT Manager can assign the tasks and mark them complete
- It allows the user to navigate on each option of the application
- This screen has a notification area in the header which allows the user to check on the new employees being assigned to them and tasks that are assigned to them

Add New Employee
- Using this screen/flow, the HR Manager and Staff Manager are able to add the users/employee to this organization
- This flow has multiple steps which allows easy understanding of the fields and are grouped accordingly
- This application allows the user to check if they miss any entries or fields while filling up the information

Assign Tasks
- This screen is a sort of a listing page which allow the user toggle between the tasks that needs to be assigned to the users
- Easy editing the tasks and to delete them
- It allows the user to see brief info about the tasks being assigned to the employees

Manage Tasks
- Detail view of the employees being added and assigned to the team
- The team can open each task and follow the instructions for the tasks to be done
- Once the tasks are done, they can check and mark them off to follow the next tasks
- Once all tasks are done, the emails are sent to the stakeholders

Reports
- A screen designed to share the KRAs and KPIs about the tasks needs to be done
- Brief info about the entire workflow which the team can follow to complete the tasks in time
- Gives the info about pending tasks, completed tasks and unassigned tasks
