A marketing machine with over 30 years of experience.
Don’t think of us as a separate entity. Think of us as an extension of your company. We’re your marketing department without the overhead.
Denise F. Benoit
Denise has over 25 years’ experience in public relations and marketing communications. In the last 10 years, she’s taken on web development, search (organic and paid) optimization, and social media. Most recently she has brought earned media attention to Doukénie Winery, a small winery in Loudoun County which virtually had no exposure in the Washington, DC area. Through a series of new events, Familiarization tours, TV and radio interviews, the campaign resulted in more than $250,000 in earned media.
As part of our work with The Fairfax at Embassy Row hotel, we rebranded The Capital Wine Festival, developing a local PR strategy, print and online marketing and social media. Press efforts for the Capital Wine Festival garnered mentions in Washington Post, Washington Life, Washington Business Journal, Bisnow, JC Hayward, WUSA9, and WTOP radio. The Capital Wine Festival made a profit for the first time since it was launched.

It is the personal relationships and an understanding of what the media needs that makes Dianne an asset to clients. She opened a destination hotel as director of public relations working closely with the surrounding award winning Reston Town Center to market and promote the property. She then graduated to Lansdowne Resort where she worked for another eight years as director of public relations. She successfully put the resort on the map and created creative community events to welcome locals, and garnered national press with the many packages and programs that were developed over time.
From there she was tapped to join a boutique public relations agency where she continued to follow her passion of hospitality by promoting Salamander Resort and Spa, The Goodstone Inn & Estate, The National Conference Center, Market Salamander, Cure Bar & Bistro and Chef Geoff’s.
Currently she is a public relations consultant working with the Gaylord at National Harbor’s ICE! Festival, National Harbor’s Food and Wine Festival, The Capital Home Show series, The Boar’s Head, Airlie Center, Sofitel DC and Doukénie Winery.
